In our mentorship program, returning citizens (men and women released from prison) will be assigned a volunteer mentor who has agreed to invest his time, attention, and talents toward helping their mentee succeed in life. Mentors will regularly meet with their mentees and offer them godly counsel, wisdom, and guidance as they navigate the obstacles of life on the outside. Mentors will hold mentees accountable and help them build value and structure into their daily lives. The one-on-one aspect of our mentorship program allows returning citizens to receive the necessary time and attention needed from their mentor and allows the mentor to make an immediate and long-term impact on the mentee. Mentor and Mentee will be of the same sex.
